POLICING IS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

We actively and strongly encourage members of the African American and Latino communities to seek out employment positions in the law enforcement community, as this is one of the strongest and best methods we have to make dynamic and lasting change in the criminal justice system as it affects people of color. Only through our presence in that part of the system which works outside of the jailbar, can we impact and influence the numbers of us who are placed inside them.
